Aviation Technology Associates (AVTECH) is looking for an Aircraft Hydraulic Fabricator I in Savannah, GA
Position Purpose:
Fabricate fluid transfer lines/tubing and/or hydraulic parts to support the next assembly areas. Ensure quality standards are maintained.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
- Cut tubing to size per the engineering specifications.
- Bend tubing on the tube benders while maintaining specified blueprint tolerances.
- Setup and operate deburr machines to ensure proper finish.
- Operate Supraport computer system.
- Build hydraulic components and subassemblies from engineering blueprints.
- Operate identification producing equipment.
- Identify material per engineering specifications.
Additional Functions:
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
- Support company FOD program.
- Comply with company safety regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
As an ideal candidate to join the AVTECH team, you will meet the following:
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School diploma/GED.
- 1 year related hydraulic experience.
- Ability to operate hand and power tools.
Other Requirements:
- Must be able to read and interpret blue prints.
- Must be skilled in close tolerance work and have knowledge of use of special tools and equipment.
- Must be able to use basic math.
- Employee must attend and become proficient in the following software programs: or (proficient in all software related programs required to perform job functions) Catia V5,Smarteam, Solumina training.
- Employee must obtain and become Q-stamp qualified within 6 months of signing acceptance letter. (Basic math and reading skills set forth by quality requirements).
Required Unique Skills:
- Must have prior hands-on experience with hydraulics
Shift: First
The estimated pay rate for this position is $21.21 per hour.
