Aircraft Maintenance Technician
Location: Twin Cities Aviation (TCA) - Anoka County Airport (KANE), Blaine, Minnesota Website: https://tcaviation.com Pay Range: $32.00 - $48.00 per hour, depending on experience Schedule: Full-time or part-time, 24–48 hours per week, Monday to Friday (weekends as needed)
Company Overview Twin Cities Aviation is a premier FAA Part 145 Repair Station, established in 1997 and dedicated to excellence in aviation maintenance. Located at KANE, we’re a Cirrus Authorized Service Center and also offer factory-trained support for Diamond aircraft, along with Beechcraft, Cessna, and Piper airframes. Our in-house aircraft upholstery shop and affiliated engineering firm enable us to tackle a variety of unique projects.
Position Overview We’re seeking experienced and dedicated Aircraft Maintenance Technicians who excel in a collaborative, high-performance environment. You’ll join a team focused on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction in providing exceptional aircraft maintenance services.
Primary Responsibilities As an Aircraft Maintenance Technician, you will work with the Director of Maintenance (DOM), other technicians, and team members to deliver services including:
100-hour, annual, and progressive inspections
Troubleshooting and unscheduled maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems
Engine removals and replacements
Composite and metallic structural repairs
Avionics software updates
Aircraft jacking, lifting, towing, and manual handling
Cleaning and lubrication
Additional duties as assigned
Ideal Candidate Profile We’re looking for technicians who:
Proactively identify and address tasks needed to support maintenance operations
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Work collaboratively at all levels, contributing to continuous improvement
Adhere to Part 145 Repair Station standards and ensure compliance across all company processes
Qualifications
License: Active Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate (either Airframe or Powerplant required; both preferred)
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in aviation maintenance
Skills: Composite repair and paint experience are advantageous
Tools: Must possess a personal set of tools
Compliance: Must pass FAA-mandated drug and alcohol screening and background checks
