    We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, hardworking people to join Alcon! As a Production Technician supporting DSM Flex Production, you will be trusted to deliver all aspects of production processes.

    In this role, a typical day will include:

    • Interact closely with lens inspectors to identify defects and perform corrective actions when needed

    • Perform minor equipment repairs and adjustments, and conduct autonomous maintenance along with 5S duties

    • Coordinate downtime to ensure efficient use for maintenance and cleaning

    • Operate production equipment, perform lot changes, and coordinate machinery downtime

    • Troubleshoot equipment faults and enter product and raw materials into MES and SAP databases

    • Work with engineers to execute equipment validations

    What you'll bring to Alcon:

    • High School Diploma or Equivalent

    • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English

    • Work hours: 36 - 48 hours per week (12-hour rotating day or night shift: 2 days on, 2 days off, and every other weekend)

    • Travel Requirements: 0%

    You should be proficient in:

    • Excellent Communication Skills
    • High School / GED
