As a Claims Adjuster Trainee, you will be responsible for handling all assigned company property and casualty and/or subrogation claims in an efficient and accurate manner. As a trainee, you will be expected to successfully complete all required training in order to advance to an adjuster position.

Responsibilities
Accomplishes goals and standards in severity and risk evaluations. Meets departmental standards for Bodily Injury, Property Damage, Collision and Overall severities. Maintains departmental standards for Cotters and Risk Review Recommendations.
Assure proper collection of all recoverables. Maintain departmental standards for Collision Subrogation collections, Subrogation Loan set-ups and set-up Collect percentages. Meet departmental standard for storage and movement of Automobile Salvage.
Assure control of claimants and insured to avoid lawsuits. Maintain departmental standards in litigation management. Monitor and maintain acceptable standards for # of Liability suits and All suits. Investigate lawsuits adequately.
Contribute to the financial planning of the company by adequate reserves and control of expenses. Maintain adequate Reserves on Open Claims. Assure that claims financial are properly reported and reserved within set time frames.
Ensure prompt and efficient handling of claims.
Qualifications
4-year bachelor’s degree
Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
Background in automobile repair, home construction, or law, desired
