    Construction Project Manager - Banking Industry Construction - Base Salary to 90k/year - Minneapolis, MN

    • Our client is a commercial GC that specializes in construction on financial businesses throughout the upper Midwest, and nationwide. Projects range from remodeling to full ground up builds for the banking industry. While quickly growing, they have been in business since 1972, and pride themselves on proactive project management and a collaborative, problem solving culture.
    • In this role, the Construction Project Manager will be coordinating closely with internal teams, stakeholders, and owners to drive high end projects to completion. This will involve working closely with the Estimating and Operations teams, and will be frequently on site when local projects break ground, and at home when performing office-type duties. The ideal candidate should have Construction Project Management experience in ground up and TI construction in administrative spaces, as well as strong communication, teamwork, and computer skills. Position is mostly remote with some work onsite, candidates must be local to Minneapolis.

    Responsibilities:

    • Review and analyze blueprints, specs, contracts, and other documentation
    • Collaborate remotely with Estimating team in bidding process
    • Collaborate remotely with Operations teams across different locations
    • Develop scopes of work for various disciplines
    • Work with project team to obtain permits
    • Plan, schedule, and coordinate projects
    • Manage evaluation of costs and impact of revisions, change orders, etc.
    • Maintain constructive relationships with subcontractors, clients, and site personnel
    • Coordinate closely with high profile clients through all stages of assigned projects
    • Work on site for local projects as needed, and occasionally out of state (~once a month)
    • Perform PM admin work from home
    • Build and maintain strong client relationships

    Qualifications:

    • 5+ years experience in commercial construction with a GC
    • Project Management experience in high end administrative/office construction, including TI and ground up
    • Banking construction experience is a plus
    • Ability to work full time from home and travel on site as needed (more for local projects, less for out of state)
    • Proficient with Excel and Procore or similar PM software required
    • Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret plans and specifications relative to the scope of work and schedule
    • Must have experience with architectural and structural drawings
    • Must have experience building relationships with clients
    • Ability to travel to different cities/states for 2-3 days a month

    Compensation:

    • Base salary in the 75k – 90k/year range
