    • The Construction Project Manager will be a key player on this team for Austin, TX. The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for coordination of all construction activities within the steel and pipe modular scope. The Construction Project Manager will be heavily responsible for ensuring frequent progress communication with all internal and external customers.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, and other project staff as a part of the Project Team.
    • Oversee the organization, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation of the project in Collaboration with Plant Manager and Plant Production Manager.
    • During Pre-Construction period, assist in design and preparation of specification, collaborate with Pre-Construction team, and maintain seamless hand – off between teams.
    • Prepare a project plan for approval by management
    • Prepare and update project schedules with input from project staff and, if required, assistance from the Scheduling Department
    • Negotiate change orders with client, architects, and engineers
    • Assistance and preparation of all subcontracts, purchase orders, requisitions, proposals, etc.
    • Approve payment of invoices received from vendors and subcontractors
    • Prepare and help with preparation of set and site activities, to include ship loose materials, site schedules, site subcontracts, staffing plans, mate line and site scope activities and schedules and closeout/turnover.
    • Ensure that all on-site activities are carried out in strict accordance with Company and Government safety regulations
    • Attend, in-person and via call in, required OAC and site meetings.
    • Other duties as assignment by management.
    • Lead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management/Engineering is highly preferred for this role
    • 10+ years’ experience of commercial or industrial construction experience from the ground up – preferably managing large multifamily new construction projects in the $20m - $80m dollar range
    • Ability to travel between different job sites several hours in a radius of Chandler, AZ
    • Candidates must have a proficiency with Procore or other construction management software
    • Must have strong data-driven and documentation skills for companywide communication and tracking purposes
    • Must have schedule forecasting/CPM scheduling experience
    • Experience managing multifamily new construction projects from $20 - $100 million is highly preferred for this role
    • Experience with Entitlements and Permitting Preferred

    Compensation:

    • Base salary in the 90k – 120k/year range, flexible dependent on experience
    • Year end profitability bonus of 5% base salary
