    Construction Site Superintendent - Multifamily New Construction - Base Salary to 130k/year - Austin, TX

    • The Construction Site Superintendent will be a crucial player on this local team in Austin, TX. The Construction Site Superintendent will report directly to the General Superintendents and will act as a deadline-driven Superintendent to oversee the construction project in the field and act as the link between all various project parties both internally and externally. The Construction Site Superintendent will lead and manage the on-site construction team, oversee orderliness, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company quality standards.

    Responsibilities:

    • Complete management and monitoring of all items and subcontractors site related – both internal, municipal and third party.
    • Leading and managing the on-site construction team.
    • Full scheduling of all vertical and horizontal subcontractors and corresponding discipline schedules.
    • Collaboration between subcontractors and corresponding schedules.
    • Coordinating and overseeing all work on site.
    • Attending production meetings.
    • Reviewing and becoming familiar with the schedule and budget and ensuring adherence to these.
    • Weekly schedule updates.
    • Ensuring quality standards are met.
    • Placing orders for materials and being responsible for equipment and materials on site.
    • Following the project timeline to ensure deadlines are met.
    • Monitoring and ensuring on-site safety compliance, cleanliness, and orderliness.
    • Maintaining records for site personnel such as daily field reports, field orders and RFIs.
    • Liaising with inspection authorities regarding approvals.
    • Collaboration with project specific peers – Project Manager, Project Engineer, General Superintendent, etc.

    Qualifications:

    • Must have 8\+ years’ experience as a Construction Superintendent and must have ground up construction experience from start to finish on large multifamily new construction projects (garden style, wraps, or podium)
    • Candidates must have experience as a Site Superintendent on projects as low as $20 million and as high as $100 million including full site supervision
    • Must have full ground up site supervision experience from start to finish (emphasis is on sitework/dirt work, underground utilities, paving, curb & gutter, civil, etc.)
    • Proficient with MS Office Word and Excel.
    • Proficient with scheduling software, and CAE and CAD applications (Procore experience is highly desired)
    • Proficient with taking and uploading digital photographs.
    • Ability to lift 40 pounds and to operate heavy equipment as needed.
    • Ability to interpret and build according to drawings, specifications, and other documents.
    • Lead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy

    Compensation:

    • Base salary to 130k/year
    • Year end profitability bonus of 5% base salary or more
