    Job Description

    Our client, an award-winning information management, logistics and real estate services company based out of Nashua, NH, is seeking an experienced Mailroom Clerk to support a government contract at a federal facility located in the Bedford/Lexington, MA area.

    **Please Note – DUE TO THE IMMEDIATE NEED TO FILL THIS VACANCY. CANDIDATES WITH AN ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE ARE PREFERRED. However, our client may sponsor qualified applicants for a clearance if they do not currently meet this requirement, pending they successfully meet all other qualifications for the position.

    AS A MAILROOM CLERK, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

    • Receiving all facility mail from external sources (USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.)
    • Daily mail pickup and delivery from/to USPS in Burlington, MA.
    • Prepare outgoing mail for processing.
    • Inspection of incoming/outgoing mail in accordance with OMC Plan.
    • Receive, separate, and sort mail in customer mailboxes for redistribution.
    • Pick-up and deliver internal mail.
    • Mail safeguarding and storage of accountable mail.
    • Metering mail.
    • Generate workload reports from mail processing equipment.
    • Monitor postage meters for sufficient funds levels.
    • Operates vehicles used for the delivery and pickup of mail.
    • Escort visitors: ensure sign in/out procedures are followed.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Active Secret Clearance preferred, but not required
    • Clean driving record.
    • Detail-oriented with ability to work well on team.
    • Exceptional communication skills and professionalism.

    ADDITIONAL POSITION DETAILS:

    • Hourly, non-exempt position.
    • SCHEDULE - FULL-TIME, MONDAY - FRIDAY, TYPICALLY 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (EXCLUDING HOLIDAYS)
    • PAY RATE $21/HR.
    • Generous benefits package including health insurance, paid vacation, paid holidays and retirement options once eligible.
    • Candidates must be able to successfully pass contract required background, credit and drug screenings upon acceptance of job offer.
