SUMMARY

The Safety Auditor will work with the team to conduct reports, document safety violations, report problems, monitor security and issue any paperwork needed for the safety team.

NOW HIRING ON 3RD SHIFT: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM + MANDATORY OVERTIME (AS NEEDED)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Patrol facility for security
• Check each department for Safety issues
• Write Safety violations for employees, managers & departments
• Log Safety Violations (computer/Excel)
• Report any maintenance problems
• Weekly safety issue recap to manager/supervisor
• Gather security detail reports
• Audit security reports for hours logged & incidents
• Maintain positive employee relations
• Cross trained to issue confined space permits
• Occasional observation tasks assigned
• Respond if an emergency happens on shift
• Perform specific training for employees on shift
• Attend weekly meetings with managers to go over violations, training and other open issues

• High School Diploma or GED
• Have previous experience and knowledge of safety or security, preferably both
