**POSITION TITLE: HVAC/Refrigeration
DEPARTMENT: Maintenance
REPORTS TO: Chief Engineer ****
RESPONSIBLE FOR:** The maintenance and upkeep of all areas within the hotel and entire property. **
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** **
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**
To ensure that all areas of the resort are maintained in proper working order. **
Administration**
o Attend meetings and briefings as needed for new HVAC or refrigeration installation.
o Ensure that all refrigeration reports and correspondence are completed punctually and accurately as it pertains to State regulations for refrigerant.
o Assist with development of policies within the maintenance department as needed for HVAC/Refrigeration **
Operational**
o Constantly review all new laws and regulation as related to HVAC/refrigeration.
o Monitors all refrigerant use on property, weighing and recover as well for reporting.
o Any other duties as directed by management.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
o Plumbing.
o Electrical.
o Painting.
o Boiler Maintenance.
o Carpet installation and removal.
o HVAC/Refrigeration
o Wood floor installation and refinish.
o Pool and spa maintenance.
o Snow removal.
o Garbage pickup.
o Heating and cooling system maintenance.
o Wood burning and gas fireplace maintenance.
o Cleanliness and all proper maintenance of facilities. **
Qualifications**
o Universal Certification, Refrigeration certification, HVAC certification.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Inspect, trouble shoot, and maintains all HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
o Monitors HVAC systems and operations.\
o Orders new HVAC/Refrigeration parts and supplies
o Follow all safety and company guidelines
o Constantly review all new laws and regulation as related to HVAC/refrigeration.
o Monitors all refrigerant use on property, weighing and recover as well for reporting.
o Any other duties as directed by management. **
WORK YEAR:**
o This is a full-time year-round position. **
PHYSICALITY:**
o This position is extremely physical in nature. All employees must expect the following for sustained periods during each work shift:
Sustained standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting of potentially heavy loads, sitting, twisting, etc.
Working indoors and outdoors, in various climates including extreme heat, cold, rain, and snow.
