We are looking for a Guest Ambassador to be the welcoming face of our market, ensuring guests feel comfortable, informed, and well taken care of from the moment they arrive.
Responsibilities:
Guest Experience & Seating:
- Greet, accommodate, and seat guests, ensuring a smooth and welcoming arrival experience.
- Offer recommendations and insights about the market’s food, drinks, and vendors.
- Stay up to date on property events and promotions to inform guests.
- Check in with seated guests to ensure satisfaction and address any needs.
- Maintain, reset, and pre-bus tables, ensuring a clean and inviting atmosphere.
- Coordinate with the Op’s team lead or porters for larger messes or furniture adjustments.
Courtyard Maintenance & Cleanliness:
- Ensure the Courtyard and surrounding areas remain clean and well-maintained.
- Clear, sanitize, and wipe down tables promptly.
- Pick up trash, sweep debris, and clean windows and doors of smudges or fingerprints.
Guest Engagement & Information:
- Engage with all guests—whether they have OpenTable reservations or are walk-ins—about property happenings, events, and promotions.
- Answer guest inquiries with enthusiasm; if unsure, proactively find the correct information from management.
- Foster a friendly and welcoming environment for all visitors.
Operations & Event Support:
- Assist with walk-in reservations and special requests, such as seating for large parties, high chairs, or wheelchair accessibility.
- Set up and break down event-specific areas in the Courtyard, including signage and seating arrangements.
- Monitor the Courtyard for potential messes, hazards, or maintenance issues, reporting them to the Market MOD.
- Offer personalized touches for special occasions (e.g., birthdays, anniversaries) by noting preferences or requests.
