    The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for working with the Hiring Managers to determine their needs and requirements for each of their accounts. The Staffing Coordinator searches for, interviews, and evaluates candidates’ skills and work history for possible placement at the client with the highest level of customer service.

     

    DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Create and foster strong relationships with client account key personnel – Hiring Managers, Corporate Management, Supervisors, etc.

    • Acquire clients’ needs, wants, and requirements to be able to assess and select candidates for successful placement

    • Source candidates that have not applied using available resources – job boards, networking, etc. Recruiting experience required.

    • Create attractive job posts for open positions and communicate with the team with requests for new posts, adjustments, and closing of job posts

    • Manage job applicant responses via job boards and Applicant Tracking System

    • Interview and evaluate the skills and work history of candidates to determine the best fit for open client positions

    • Present qualified candidates to clients in a professional manner with candidate summary and current resume

    • Manage candidate process through client presentation and interview process and maintain contact with both client and candidate to keep forward progress

    • Maintain recruiting pipeline with candidates for open and potential client positions based on historical and forecasted hiring numbers, update daily in the Applicant Tracking System

    • Complete quality checks with employees and clients to ensure both are pleased with the placement

    • Work with client on current employee issues, incidents, injuries, performance, etc.

    • Communicate contingent job offers and end of assignment with employees by Ambassador’s policies and procedures

    • Act as backup for Front Desk Coordinator when required

    • Other duties as assigned including Recruiting.

     

    REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

    • Proven ability to search for, interview, and evaluate candidates’ skills and work history

    • Ability to demonstrate professional verbal and written communication skills

    • Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines, organizational skills, and attention to detail

    • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment

    • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word

    • Ability to process information quickly and efficiently and apply practical solutions to problems

    • Ability to be flexible in the schedule when required to meet deadlines

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    • High school diploma or equivalent

    • At least 6 months of staffing or recruiting experience required

    Ability to speak fluent Spanish a BONUS
