Job Description
The Opportunity: The **** American Girl Washington, DC retail store (McLean, VA) is currently seeking a passionate Assistant Sales Manager who can be innovative and thrive in a friendly and fast-paced environment.
What Your Impact Will Be:
• Assists the Sales Manager in the management, leadership, and overview of the retail business.
• Provide sales floor leadership to ensure a friendly, positive, and professional work environment for both customers and employees at all times.
• Assists the Sales manager to achieve goals and monitor progress through weekly recaps and regular floor coaching and counseling of associates.
• Assists the Sales Manager in the strategic plan for new items, special promotions, and creation of floor plans.
• Execute all job functions in accordance with established American Girl processes and policies.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
• Three to five years of work experience in sales or service industry.
• Strong customer service background with preferably lead/supervisory experience.
• PC skills including Microsoft Office knowledge.
• Strong written, verbal and management experience is required.
• Work schedule requires evening and weekend work.
