Amida is looking for a Project Coordinator who will serve as the secondary customer point of contact for assigned projects and will lead task completion and milestone accomplishments for Amida's customer while liaising with the engineering team and the Prime contracting partner. The Project Coordinator will be assisting with planning, organizing, and monitoring projects to ensure that they are delivered on time with minimal risk, within scope and budget while meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
What you will be doing:
- Develop and track project plans and provide progress reports against the plan
- Manage project schedule and all contract deliverables to ensure on-time delivery and a proactive management approach
- Manage multiple technical workstreams
- Attend and lead on and offsite meetings with clients, partners, and Amida team maintaining regular correspondence
- Lead technical requirement gathering sessions and represent the team's technical interests to the client
- Participate in and facilitate business analysis and system design activities
- Prepare and brief project-level reports to Amida leadership including project schedule, resources, scope, risks, growth potential, budgets, forecasts, and actuals
- Maintain and grow the partnership with the client and/or contract partner(s)
- Monitor industry trends and standards related to project management best practices to assist Amida leadership with the applicable implementation
- Identify and present areas of growth or other opportunities
What we are looking for:
- 5 years of IT project management experience, with demonstrable successful hands-on implementation or development
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems Management or a related field
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects or assignments while ensuring technical accuracy
- Experience with software development life cycle/agile
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills timely delivery for all work products and deliverables
- Excellent analysis, facilitation, mediation, negotiation, and client relationship skills
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills to include the ability to interact effectively with clients, technical staff, and management across all levels
- Ability to work comfortably in a rapidly changing environment
- A dependable team player who works collaboratively and cooperatively with others in a team-oriented environment
- Expert level experience using Microsoft Office products to deliver project deliverables and reports, such as Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create templates, formulas, and charts/graphs
PREFERRED SKILLS
- PMP and/or Agile certifications
- Prior experience working on or managing IT solutions, government and OR commercial projects
- Prior experience working on or managing projects related to open source software development, data ingestion/transformation, IoT and/or cybersecurity
