    BKM Capital Partners is a growing firm, and we are looking for hardworking professionals that want to grow with us. Located in our Newport Beach, California office, the Analyst of Acquisitions & Dispositions will play an integral role by supporting the acquisitions team in all aspects of the investment transaction process including deal sourcing, market analysis, financial analysis, due diligence, and internal investment reviews.

    This position is 100% in-office due to the collaborative nature of this role.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research using broker relationships, CoStar, and internal resources to develop competitive sets, lease comps, and sale comps that support underwriting assumptions during the acquisition process. Maintain a strong understanding of targeted markets through direct research and third-party reports.
    • Financial Analysis: Perform financial modeling and underwriting for potential acquisitions using Excel and Argus Enterprise. Prepare cash flow models to support valuation and investment decisions.
    • Pipeline Management: Track and manage potential acquisition opportunities by maintaining accurate records in BKMIntel, BKM’s proprietary software. Assist in preparing for weekly pipeline meetings and present investment opportunities to the acquisitions team.
    • Cross-Team Collaboration & Support: Provide support to other BKM departments by answering inquiries related to prior acquisitions and assets in the disposition pipeline.
    • Data & Technology Management: Ensure that BKMIntel remains updated with the latest sales comps and conduct quarterly competitive set updates. Collaborate with the acquisitions team to refine the platform’s format and design.
    • Market Engagement: Actively network with industry professionals and maintain regular communication with national and local brokers to gather market insights.

    Qualifications:

    • 2+ years of experience in an analytical role within commercial real estate, preferably industrial (residential experience excluded).
    • Proficiency in Argus Enterprise and Excel is required.
    • Familiarity with industrial leasing in Colorado, Texas, Illinois, and Utah is a plus.
    • Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, economics, business, or a related field.
    • Experience with real estate analysis tools , including CoStar.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Exceptional organizational and administrative skills with keen attention to detail.
    • Proactive problem-solver with the ability to take ownership of tasks and work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
