    Job Description

    David Weekley Homes’ Build-to-Rent (BTR) Division, Integrity Community Builders, has an exciting opportunity for an Analyst position. In this highly visible role, the Analyst will collaborate with the BTR team to build out a newly established General Partner Investment Platform, while also supporting the expansion of the existing and successful General Contracting business.

    The Analyst will accomplish these goals by leveraging financial analysis, market research, and strategic planning to identify investment opportunities, optimize project execution, and support key decision-making. This role will also involve coordinating with internal teams and external partners to drive the success of both David Weekley’s Investment Platform and General Contracting operations.

    In this process, the Analyst will benefit by building a career in real estate investment, development, and homebuilding while working alongside industry leaders in the Build-to-Rent sector. The role offers exposure to high-level strategic decision-making, financial modeling, and market evaluation, providing valuable insights into the full investment and development lifecycle.     What You’ll Do: ****

    • Underwriting BTR Investment Opportunities – Analyze potential land acquisition and development projects by reviewing costs, rents, operating expenses and other market data to help support investment decisions and minimize risk factors
    • Financial Modeling & Analysis – Develop and maintain detailed BTR financial models to evaluate potential investment opportunities, including pro forma projections, return metrics, and sensitivity analyses
    • Market Research & Due Diligence – Conduct thorough market research to assess investment viability and identify emerging trends in the BTR real estate sector, including but not limited to rent studies, operating expenses benchmarking, and comparable sales analysis
    • Investment Committee Support – Prepare materials and presentations for internal Investment Committee meetings, summarizing key deal terms, financial projections, and risk assessments.
    • Process & Framework Development – Help build and refine General Partner Investment Platform processes and General Contracting processes
    • Collaboration with Internal Teams – Work closely with Land Mangers and Developers across markets to support both businesses
    • External Partner Engagement – To the extent required, coordinate with equity partners, brokers, and consultants to support deal structuring, financing, and due diligence efforts
    • Pipeline Tracking & Reporting – Maintain pipeline reports for the Investing and General Contracting business
    • Contracting Processes – Manage the execution of contract agreements with partners for new business acquisitions
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years of relevant experience in Build-to-Rent or Multifamily acquisitions / development / investments, investment banking, or real estate private equity supporting other asset classes ( this is not a post-undergraduate position )
    • Proficiency in real estate financial modeling and preparing investment committee memorandums
    • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities to underwrite deals effectively and ask the appropriate questions to internal and external stakeholders
    • Excellent relationship-building and networking abilities to cultivate and expand business connections
    • Highly driven with exceptional organizational and time management skills to ensure ongoing follow-ups and efficient project execution within the Investment Platform and General Contracting sectors
    • Skilled in negotiation and influence to secure favorable deal outcomes when required
    • Familiarity with DWH’s real estate markets is preferred
    • Commitment to integrity, continuous growth, and making a positive impact
    • Bachelor’s degree required

    Additional Information

    • Based in Austin, TX and will work out of that Division’s local office.
    • Limited travel for training in Houston, conferences in other cities, and site visits as needed ( primarily occur Monday-Friday ) __
