    Job Summary

    We are seeking a skilled Computer IT Operations Specialist (Job Tittles and description below) to join our team. As the Computer Security Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our security systems. You will respond to any security or privacy breaches and prevent unauthorized access to our data. The ideal candidate is honest, reliable, and has a proven track record in computer security.

    JOB TITTLES & DESCRIPTIONS

    | Salesforce Administrator: | Administering a Salesforce Org(s). Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification; | Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. | 'Typically has 10 or more years of relevant technical or business work experience.

    | Salesforce Developer: | Development of complex Apps on the Salesforce platform including Apex coding, creation of Communities, design and data mapping for Einstein Analytics along with handling various developer related functions. Developer experienced with API configurations and enhanced knowledge of the Salesforce security functions highly desired. Experience with Salesforce architecture and solutioning a must.

    | Security Analyst: | Establish and maintain the security for access to the City's software products including user access control software, program software, and data files. Installs, operates, and maintains security software including issuing passwords and proper authorization for system access to ensure protection of computer software and data files on the City's mainframe and network computers. Assists in establishing policies and procedures regarding computer passwords, sign on, security, and access. Conducts internal audits of computer facilities to ensure operating procedures are being followed and develops risk analysis and vulnerability studies of software and physical security.

    | Security Engineer: | Provides advanced level oversight for the definition and deployment of security requirements and blueprint preparation, testing, and implementation of the system software and hardware required for technology models of complex projects. Identifies, determines, and defines business requirements to meet technology security needs in providing a secured, robust, reliable, and efficient infrastructure for City departments; provides lead level engineering expertise in the development of IT solutions. Designs, selects, tests, assembles, and standardizes the technology security model for use across the IT landscape; communicates with business partners, departments, and management to ensure IT solutions meet IT needs. Implements and migrates technology security models across the organization; supports IT specialists in various departments to mitigate loss of service during transition or update periods. Performs business modeling and systems engineering; works collaboratively with other professionals to build IT models that address issues, solve problems, and increase productivity. Provides communication and education to information systems personnel on the technology model.

    | Senior Electronic Technician : | Leads, coordinates, and assists electronic technicians in preventive and repair maintenance, installation and modification of electronic equipment to ensure systems are maintained and repaired in a timely manner. Orders equipment and/or ensures supplies (tool, material, etc.) are available to successfully complete assignments. Designs and assists in the construction/fabrication of consoles for modification of automobile communication equipment. Programs electronic chips and produces diagrams to change equipment processes for use in process connections and controls. Conducts internal audits of computer facilities to ensure operating procedures are being followed and develops risk analysis and vulnerability studies of software and physical security.

    | Senior Network Engineer: | Provides senior level oversight for the definition and deployment of requirements and blueprint preparation, testing, and implementation of the system software and hardware required for technology models of medium-risk and medium-sized projects. Focus will be on network and services supporting the business. Must be able to define business requirements to meet technology needs in providing a secured, robust, reliable and efficient infrastructure. And have ability to designs, selects, tests, assembles, and standardizes the technology model and implement solutions. Must be able to communication effectively with all levels of the business and management to in support of IT needs. Working knowledge of Wi-Fi and associated deployments and wireless solutions like Cradle Point units. SCADA networks and associated operations and security isolation zones.

    Qualifications

    A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred

    5-10 years of experience in previous or a similar role is preferred based on position

    Strong understanding of data collection and analysis

    Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

    Ability to work well as part of a team

    Strong written and verbal communication skills
