    Job Description

    This is an Analyst role focused on Project Systems and Fixed Assets that will play a role in the implementation of these areas in on-going solutions and migration to S/4 HANA Finance. The successful candidate will perform work that is highly complex, varied in nature, and span multiple functional areas. This individual will seek to ensure the optimum utilization of existing system platforms and their integration while considering deployment of new technologies in response to business requirements. As a Analyst this role will be responsible for performing configuration, preparing functional designs, testing and managing the work of managed services providers.

    There are no direct reports to this role; but this is considered a team member role within SAP Finance product application team. The NBCU SAP finance application team has approximately 80 team members (contactors and employees) and this role is expected operate based on guidance from the team manager.

    Primary responsibilities will include:

    • Understanding NBCU business processes requirements by engaging with business partners at enterprise and division level.
    • Craft adaptable, comprehensive, and feasible solutions by creating necessary blueprint documents for functional requirements and specifications
    • Design functional solutions to solve business problems
    • Ensure agreement on design with process owners
    • Support and implement SAP Project Systems and Fixed Assets and related financial integrations.
    • Perform fit-gap analysis via discovery by engaging with business units and SAP team members
    • Participate in solution build and test activities on SAP implementations, rollouts, or upgrade projects
    • Review current standards and revise to ensure best practices
    • Serve as the conduit between product team, business, and engineering.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors or advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting or Business from an accredited institution or equivalent
    • 8 + years of total product experience focusing 5 + years of progressive SAP hands on experience in SAP PS & AA solutions including integrations with other modules leading up to Architect level work in a consultative and/or IT capacity with at least 5 SAP project implementations of high complexity, large scale and global user base
    • Strong knowledge of Finance (FICO, AA, PS) and Basic knowledge of BW, SAC and SAP Security
    • Demonstrate excellent verbal/presentation and written communication skills
    • Possess interpersonal skills to engage with all levels of Business and IT
    • Self-starter to work on multiple projects simultaneously with a keen desire to learn and expand depth of knowledge
    • Adherence to IT/SAP project methodologies, and change control processes
    • Familiarity and comfort in working in an outsourced module with onshore and offshore resources
    • Strong / effective problem-solving skills
    • Conceptual to detailed thinking skills
    • Willingness to work off business hours and weekends as needed in a demanding environment

    • Certified Public Account or Equivalent+
    • Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, Teams)
