    Job Description

    Located in Wilder, KY, Andrews Laser Works manufactures metal brackets primarily for the aerospace industry.  Utilizing laser cutting, machining, forming, stamping, welding, & assembly processes; the company transforms sheet metal into complex, tight-tolerance brackets for aircraft engines.  With an ever-changing aerospace industry in which customers continually ask suppliers to integrate and innovate, Andrews Laser Works is responding to the challenge.  Andrews Laser Works was acquired by Precision Castparts Corp. in November of 2015. Position Summary: The Office Administrator will undertake administrative tasks, ensuring the rest of the staff has adequate support to work efficiently at Andrews Laser Works.  Primary Duties & Responsibilities:  •    Perform administrative duties in the office and ensure that office is operating smoothly •    Perform receptionist duties: greet visitors, and answer and direct phone calls •    Receive and sort incoming mail and deliveries, and manage outgoing mail •    Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary •    Participate actively in the planning and execution of company events •    Provide frontline HR support to employees •    Provide accounts receivable support to Finance, including payment application •    Assist in month end closing process •    Maintain filing systems, ensuring security, integrity and confidentiality of data •    Maintain a safe and secure working environment

    Required Skills:

    •    Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work •    Strong attention to detail, problem solving skills and analytical abilities •    Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills •    Proficient in MS Office •    Knowledge of accounting, data and administrative management practices and procedures •    Knowledge of clerical practices and procedures •    Knowledge of human resources management practices and procedures •    Knowledge of business and management principles •    Computer skills and knowledge of office software packages

    Required Experience: •    Proven office management, administrative or assistant experience •    Familiarity with accounts payable and/or accounts receivable processes preferred

    Level of Education:

    •    High school diploma; BSc/BA in office administration or relevant field is preferred
