We have on-site housing for 3 employees that rotate evening duties. Currently we have one vacancy. No prior animal care experience is required, we will thoroughly train you for all duties, you just need to have the right attitude and eagerness to learn!

The on-site housing would be "rent free" in exchange for caring for dogs & cats in the evening on a rotated schedule with the other on-site staff. During your assigned week, you would be required to check on & care for pets, along with other simple duties. This would take you approx. 30 min to 3 hrs. depending on pet capacity in the evening.

You will have your own bedroom & private bathroom. The shared common areas are the kitchen, eating area, laundry room, and family room. This is a shared home making this position for one person only (no families or couples).

Typical Day time duties would include feeding, medicating, bathing, exercising, cleaning, sanitizing, interfacing with customers, and anything else relating to the care of dogs & cats.

Qualifications:

• Must love both dogs & cats

• For day time hours, must be able to work every other weekend including on and around holidays (we care for pets 365 days a year)

• Must be a Non-Smoker - we do not allow smoking anywhere on the property

• Must live on property and be on site during your scheduled evening shift

Our Location.... We are located in the Bogart / Statham area, 8 miles west of the Georgia Square Mall in Athens, GA. We are approximately 20 minutes from the UGA campus. Located 2/10 of a mile from the city limits of Statham, about 7 miles from Winder. We are just off Hwy 316 or Atlanta Hwy on Pleasant Hill Church Road SE.
