We are a Distinctive Boarding Facility for Dogs & Cats looking for a person to "live on site" in housing provided (shared home with one other animal caretaker). In addition to the free on-site housing, you would also be working full time hours during the day. Previous experience caring for dogs & cats is not required. We will train the right person.

The on-site housing would be "rent free" in exchange for caring for dogs & cats in the evening on a rotated schedule with other on-site staff. During your assigned week, you would be required to check on & care for pets, along with other simple duties. This would take you approx. 30 min to 2 hrs depending on pet capacity in the evening.

You will have your own bedroom & private bathroom. The shared common areas are the kitchen, eating area, laundry room, and family room. This is a shared home making this position for one person only (no families or couples).

Typical Day time duties would include feeding, medicating, bathing, exercising, cleaning, sanitizing, interfacing with customers, and anything else relating to the care of dogs & cats.

Qualifications:

• Must love both dogs & cats
• For day time hours, must be able to work every other weekend including on and around holidays (we care for pets 365 days a year)
• Must be able to clean facilities, feed & medicate pets of all temperaments
• Attention to detail & following procedures is mandatory
• Must be a Non-Smoker - we do not allow smoking anywhere on the property.
• Being an animal caretaker is physically demanding - you must be in good physical shape and able to lift, bend and endure being on your feet.
