    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Answers inbound calls for product and policy information, converting to sale of a policy.
    • Builds and maintains engaging relationships using timely communication with internal and external customers, partners, and vendors throughout the customer journey.
    • Provides consultation regarding processes and procedures when filing a claim.
    • Maintains excellent relationships with policy holders and pet parents.
    • Coordinates and participates in job/community fairs to promote the Animalia Brand.
    • Gathers documents and maintains pet policies, ensuring that the appropriate endorsement(s) are in place and align with the insured pet.
    • Researches, extracts, and compiles data for reports and occasional audits.
    • Participates in professional development sessions or seminars; stays current on trends.
    • Manages multiple projects/deliverables with short, targeted completion dates.
    • Responsible for using sound judgment and initiative in making decisions to support best practices and Animalia's Policies and Procedures.
    • Assists with any assigned special projects.
    • All other duties as required.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Excellent oral communication skills to speak clearly and persuasively.
    • Excellent written communication skills.
    • Working knowledge and use of MS Office, G-Suite, and other web-based platforms.
    • Three years' experience selling and maintaining P&C policies.
    • Exceptional detail orientation and organization skills.
    • Ability to adapt and effectively function in a constantly changing environment.
    • Professional attitude, enthusiastic, and reliable.
    • High Emotional Intelligence and empathy.
    • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
    • Practiced professionalism and confidentiality are required.
    • Proven attendance reliability.

    Please note: this position is NOT remote-based and will require physical presence in the corporate headquarters location to be built in either New York City or New Jersey. Hybridized programs are under consideration, however.
