    What You’ll be Doing

    You’ll receive a comprehensive four (4) week paid training program to become immersed in our full line of insurance products. After training completion, there will be a 1-week “nesting” period until open enrollment begins so you can get used to the systems. Immediately after that, you’ll start advising individuals and families about how our insurance plans align with their unique needs. In addition to your hourly wages, this opportunity pays commissions for all enrollments and renewals! You’ll be using your training and passion for customer care and sales to answer customer questions, resolve issues, and make a difference in the lives of the public we serve.

    As a Licensed Healthcare Insurance Agent, on a typical day, you will

    ● Help individuals and families understand their coverage needs

    ● Guide plan options that fit their budget and healthcare needs, differentiating products in the market

    ● Clarify areas of customer confusion or frustration to suggest solutions with an emphasis on empathy

    ● Enroll individuals and families in the best available plan for their needs and budget

    ● Actively listen to identify additional customer needs that different plan features and enhancements might fulfill.

    What You Bring to the Role

    ● Provide customer care and sales support for a well-known, A+-rated health insurer.

    ● Help individuals and families understand their current coverage and choose the best plan for their needs.

    ● Enroll individuals and families in new or renewed health insurance plans.

    ● Answer customer questions about health insurance plans and benefits.

    ● Strong closing techniques with empathy and value in mind

    Qualifications:

    ● Current Health insurance license in your state of residence

    ● South Carolina Health insurance license is required before training. If newly obtained, reimbursable with a receipt at the end of training.

    ● Minimum one year of health insurance sales experience

    ● 1 season of open enrollment ACA experience

    ● Federally Facilitated Marketplace (FFM) Certification

    ● Natural ability to make connections

    ● Passion for sales

    ● Previous call center experience is a plus

    ● Ability to simplify the complex subject matter

    ● Active listening skills/attention to detail

    ● Dedicated, secure, distraction-free workspace

    ● High-speed internet access (10 MBPS Upload and 25 MBPS Download) with a hard-wired connection.

    ● Laptop or desktop computer with Windows 10 or greater (Apple/Mac, Chromebooks, and tablets are incompatible)

    ● USB Connected Headphones with Microphone and Mute button. (Bluetooth is unacceptable)

    ● Completion of pre-screening assessment

    ● High school diploma or equivalent

    Schedule:

    ● The ability to commit to a 40-hour work week within our hours of operation of 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM EST. A choice between three 8-hour set shifts.

    ● 100% attendance during mandatory training. It begins the first week in October (4 weeks). Starting October 2nd.

    ● 100% attendance during the production period starting November 1st until December 15th. (6 work weeks, no work on Thanksgiving holiday).

    ● One 30-minute unpaid lunch break and two 15-minute paid breaks.
