Retail laboratory company is seeking an area manager to oversee multiple locations with the goal of continued growth by hiring, training and retaining qualified team members, overseeing all marketing and sales initiatives, and ensuring compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, CLIA, labor law and other federal, state and location regulations.
This role requires a knowledge of medical office operations while providing a stellar customer experience.
Requirements:
College degree in business or healthcare administration
Minimum two years of experience managing multiple retail/medical office locations
Strong desire to make a positive difference in the Houston community
Leadership skills managing a diverse and talented team
Experience reading financial reports (budgets and P&L)
Ability to easily learn computer systems and train staff
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Quickbooks Online
Ability to effectively communicate with staff, management and customers.

Marketing and sales experience
Laboratory Patient Service Center experience
Bilingual (Spanish)
Medical Assistant Certification
Job Duties:
Hire staff and train new team members
Set and maintain staff schedules
Use existing training resources to improve staff customer service and technical skills
Perform team member evaluations
General HR responsibilities and payroll
Implement new product and service offerings
Provide support to team on daily operational challenges
Oversee continuous improvement by coaching team on providing an exceptional customer experience
Ensure yearly financial goals are met
Oversee sales and marketing initiatives
Manage vendor and supplier relationships
Participate in local marketing cooperative
