Toxicology Product Manager
We are looking for a Toxicology Product Manager to help Franchisees and their team members successfully educate and offer drug testing to their customers. Your goal as the Toxicology Product Manager will be to serve as the Subject Matter Expert in Toxicology; to increase knowledge, retention, and skill for Franchisees and Medical Assistants across 200+ locations; to troubleshoot and problem-solve issues as needed; to stay up to date on current drug trends and testing methodologies; to maintain lab partnerships with negotiated pricing. The ideal candidate should be a great communicator and quick learner who is highly knowledgeable in the subject matter of Toxicology. This role is part of the Operations Team and will work closely with the Clinical Product Manager.
Responsibilities:
Familiarity with DOT collections; Qualified Trainer preferred
Maintain partnerships with Toxicology testing labs; negotiate test offerings, pricing, important changes/updates
Communicate related updates and announcement to Home Office, Franchisees, and their Teams
Facilitate all aspects of Toxicology Testing and support franchise owners accordingly to ensure proper training, testing, and excellent customer experience
Manage relationships of Toxicology lab partners and drug device vendors; negotiate pricing, test offerings, and contracts following protocol
Serve as Liaison between lab partners/drug vendors and franchise owners, manage any customer service issues
Conduct customer business reviews with partners/vendors to discuss overall relationships, strengthen partnership, ways to maximize product offering and opportunities as needed
Remain abreast with the Department of Transportation drug and alcohol testing policy and its changes
Maintain open communication with franchise owners and staff on any changes to drug/alcohol testing
Manage the Any Lab Test Now preferred collection site network of over 200 locations; Serve as backup for national collection/sales partnerships
Conduct instructor-led virtual toxicology training for new/existing owners and staff monthly, conduct retraining and refresher training when necessary
Stay connected to forensic drug and alcohol testing network and relationship building in the industry
Research and onboard new drug devices and/or forensic lab drug tests
Manage annual utilization to determine new product offerings and growth opportunities
Serve as the subject matter expert for workplace drug and alcohol testing, drug collections, as well as background and fingerprinting services
Collaborate with marketing on content messaging of product offering and marketing materials
Develop and maintain Toxicology protocols, (internal) Playbooks, and manuals; Update Operations Manual annually or as needed
Monitor site’s safety and compliance to FMCSA drug and alcohol policy
Serve as point of contact for franchise owners/staff regarding any toxicology related questions or issues
Maintain toxicology pricing spreadsheet for changes and updates
Assist Implementation department with transfers and new franchisee onboarding
Participate in Toxicology networking and event opportunities such as DATIA
Skills:
Understanding of Toxicology testing and education methodologies and resources
Willingness to keep abreast of related techniques, programs, strategies
Proficient in MS Office, Google Drive
Effective communicator
Critical thinking
Experience with franchise systems a plus
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience in Healthcare a plus
Experience/familiarity with Clinical Testing a plus
