POSITION REPORTS TO: Senior HR Manager
POSITION SUMMARY
The HR Manager is responsible for providing HR support to employees and managers to ensure Apache is a great place to work for everyone. This role provides partnership and guidance in the areas of employee relations and engagement, performance management, career development, learning and training.
RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS
1. Be the first point of contact for employees on HR topics, questions, and issues.
2. Build credibility and trust to address questions and concerns. Ensure that all employee relations issues are properly identified, reported, investigated, and resolved.
3. Support HR processes and training throughout the employee lifecycle such as employee relations/engagement, leave of absences, career development, performance management, and separation/layoffs.
4. Collaborate with managers on job changes and review transactions through Workday including compensation changes, promotions, transfers, terminations.
5. Partner with the field operations to develop strong crew members through positive employee relations, hiring/selection practices, onboarding, training, and performance management.
6. Proactively identify opportunities to improve the employee experience and partner with managers to develop and implement initiatives/solutions.
7. Lead HR change initiatives; act a subject matter expert for HR systems and technology.
8. Other duties as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related area (or high school graduate/GED with minimum 5 years of relevant work experience)
· 2+-years of HR experience including employee relations, performance management, leadership development, coaching
· Travel: up to 25%

· Experience working with employees in Industrial, Construction or Manufacturing environments
· Demonstrates courage and ability to handle ambiguous situations
· Applies solid judgment to make decisions with integrity, compliance, and compassion
· Experience with hands-on application of HR practices, concepts and labor law
· Sound knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and statutes for employment and experience
· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to navigate through complex ER issues
· Demonstrates flexibility with the ability to handle multiple priorities and adapt to changes
· Strong communication skills: ability to work with various levels of the organization
· Highly driven and proactive; takes initiative without being told what to do
