Responsibilities: • Perform maintenance work on plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, appliances, and mechanical systems in residential apartment units located in Pittsburgh, PA • Respond promptly to service calls from residents and ensure repairs are completed in a timely manner • Interact in a polite and professional manner with tenants, vendors, contractors, and colleagues • Complete assigned maintenance tasks in vacant apartments for unit turnovers and preparations • Carry out various preventive maintenance procedures to ensure proper functioning of equipment • Be available for on-call and after-hour emergency maintenance requests and work orders • Maintain the grounds of the community to uphold its appearance and functionality • Conduct painting and wall touch-up tasks as needed • Perform carpet cleaning duties as part of the maintenance responsibilities Qualifications: • Must have the ability to conveniently commute to and from the workplace • Must be available for a flexible on-call schedule covering morning, afternoon, and evening service calls at apartment properties throughout the week • A valid driver's license is required • Reliable transportation is a must • Proficiency in using email, text, and phone communications is essential Compensation: $18 - $25 hourly
