Job Title: Apartment Renovation Technician

Location: Akron, OH Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Apartment Renovation Technician to handle various renovation tasks, from light cosmetic upgrades to full unit overhauls. The ideal candidate will have experience in multiple trades, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall, and general construction. This position requires a hands-on professional who takes pride in craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Perform light to heavy renovations, including flooring, painting, cabinetry, and fixture installations.

Conduct demolition work as needed to prepare units for upgrades.

Install and repair plumbing fixtures, electrical outlets, and appliances.

Frame and install drywall, including patching and finishing.

Perform general carpentry work, such as door and trim installation.

Ensure all renovations meet building codes and safety regulations.

Work independently or with a team to complete projects on time and within budget.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Communicate with project managers and property owners about progress and any potential issues.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in apartment or residential renovations required.

Proficiency in multiple trades, including plumbing, electrical, drywall, and carpentry.

Ability to read blueprints and follow design plans.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.

Own tools preferred but not required.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
