Marshall Dennehey, P.C., a leading Am Law 200 civil defense law firm with over sixty years of continued service to our corporate, insurance, and individual clients, is seeking an Appellate Attorney with 5 - 10 years of experience handling New York appeals. The practice group is team-work based and client focused with the opportunity for client interaction and practice growth. Specifically, we are seeking candidates who have an interest in legal writing and oral advocacy directed to trial and appellate courts. The position will support approximately 50 trial attorneys. Preferably candidates for this position will have a proven trial track record, and appellate experience at the state and federal level. Responsibilities include assisting trial counsel with drafting pre and post trial motions, trial monitoring to assist with trial strategy and ensure proper record preservation, and of course handling all aspects of the appellate practice. We are extremely proud of our deep appellate practice, and our appellate attorneys argue in front of all state and federal trial, and appellate courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court.

Compensation range: $125,000 - $200,000 which is negotiable dependent on experience level and portable business
