    Jensen-Akins is looking for a talented Appliance Sales Consultant to join our team!

    You will be responsible for supporting the Appliance Sales Department to help them stay organized and complete tasks that allow them to focus on more advanced responsibilities. You play a key role in helping our team stay efficient so we can satisfy our customers!

    Responsibilities:

    A typical Day in the Life of an Appliance Sales Consultant

    A day for an Appliance Sales Consultant at Jensen Akins can be unpredictable.

    Each day is different depending on the issues that arise. The Appliance Sales Consultant may be tracking and fixing an appliance delivery at one point and then meeting with a customer to write up a sales order. OR maybe calling customers to coordinate delivery info. Each day involves extensive interaction with appliance customers, drafting orders, taking care of special situations, making plans for appliance deliveries, and correcting problems. It's being nimble and being able to multi-task.

    Greet customers, answer questions, engage customers by providing exceptional customer service

    Guiding customers to merchandise within the store

    Organizing and maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the store floor

    Strong product knowledge

    Contribute to the department’s sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis • Passionately seek out customers in the store

    Build customer relationships

    Qualifications:

    Prior sales experience is considered a plus but not required

    Professional appearance

    Ability to use computers and learn how to use the companies POS system

    Personable and friendly attitude

    Ability to work in fast-paced environments

    Understanding of sales principles
