We are looking for dedicated, consumer-driven individuals interested in part-time or full-time hours. While we prefer open availability, we understand that many qualified candidates have restrictions that limit their availability. Retail experience and product knowledge are a plus, but not essential, as we will provide the training and tools you need to succeed. All you need to bring is a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
As a Furniture & Appliance Sales Associate, you will work directly with customers to help them find and choose the products they need to complete their projects. You will also build relationships with our friends and neighbors to help us foster a stronger community, the way we’ve been doing it since 1960.
We offer our customers service, convenience, and fair pricing. Our home appliance, furniture, and mattress business has grown steadily over the years, and we partner with key national brands to offer the best products possible. We believe that every product we sell has our name on it, and we take that responsibility very seriously.
We offer service before, during, and after the sale. Unlike most of our competitors, we have our own delivery/install team and a full-line service team to take care of any issues that may arise. You can trust that these teams will be there for our customers if they need them.

Responsibilities:
· Greet customers in a welcoming manner and offer prompt service.
· Drive sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.
· Complete training on the product lines we offer, know the current trends, and utilize our technology systems to make the sale and installation process seamless.
· Process payments by totaling purchases, processing checks, cash, and store or other credit options.
· Work with our Administrative staff after the sale to ensure that we exceed our customers' expectations of service.
· Inform customers about sales, promotions, policies, and service offerings.
· Help to keep the sales floor clean and organized.
· Answer customer phone calls.

· Morning shift (8am Open)

Weekly day range:
· Monday to Friday
· Rotating weekends
