_ Role and responsibilities_

Your primary role will be to design data models, data destination solutions, and data integration. You are responsible for creating and implementing the blueprint for data infrastructure.

• Data Architecture and Integration:

  • Design and manage data architectures using Azure, AWS, and SQL Server.
  • Integrate and migrate data across cloud and on-premises systems.
  • Utilize message bus, REST APIs, and other integration methods.

• Data Management:

  • Develop scalable and secure data models, databases, and warehouses.
  • Specialize in timeseries data for large dataset management.
  • Optimize database performance and implement best practices.

• Security and Compliance:

  • Ensure data security with encryption and access controls.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards.

• Collaboration and Documentation:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and meet data requirements.
  • Document data architectures and management processes comprehensively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer science, Engineering, Finance, or Quantitative Finance
• 6+ years of relevant experience
• Vast experience in data extraction and collection from websites, APIs, databases, and cloud platforms (AWS S3, Azure, Snowflake).
• Designing and architecting databases for performance, expansion, and flexibility.
• Heavy experience building complex user interfaces using JavaScript, React, or Angular with grid controls such as AG Grid or other similar grid controls.
• Deep knowledge of C#/.NET, Python, and R with the ability to learn new languages.
• Experience utilizing Azure and AWS cloud functions such as AWS Lambda.
• Working knowledge of ISO markets preferred, specifically storage operations in ERCOT and CAISO.

The salary range for this role is US$100,000 - US$140,000
