Renesas Is seeking a talented Computer Science or Electrical Engineering **** student to join our team this Summer as an Applications Engineer in our Farmington Hills office. In this role you will...

• ​​​​​Assist with the proof-of-concept application development of Renesas SOC products in the next generation of automotive and industrial end equipment.
• Provide hands-on support solving customer technical issues with the use of Renesas SoC products.
• Collaborate internally with global engineering teams in product requirement analysis, technical reviews, benchmarking, and troubleshooting efforts.
• Extend practical knowledge and experience in automotive/industrial technologies and the semiconductor industry including automated driving, advanced driver assist system, in-vehicle infotainment and cluster, AI Edge computation, and tools.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be Major in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering for a bachelor's or higher degree.
• GPA 3.0+
• Candidate must reside in the area, able to commute or willing to relocate for the summer to Michigan for this opportunity.
• Willing to work 100% on-site internship.
• Strong Programming skills in C, C++, and Python.
• Experience in Linux, Embedded software, and microprocessors.
• Experience RTOS – preferable.
• Knowledge of the Automobile industry – preferable
• Excellent interpersonal skills which are necessary for this role.
