    Florida SouthWestern State College is accepting resumes in search of an Applications Support Specialist I, Financial Services to join our team. This position provides data and technology support to College functional areas which may include
    Human Resources/Payroll, Financial Aid, Finance and Accounting, and/or Student Services. Work includes primary support for the functional area relating to the College's enterprise-wide information system (Banner), data retrieval and state report compliance.

    Responsibilities include Banner module maintenance encompassing planning and implementation of new features, lead user role in conversions, troubleshooting, end-user training and process improvement analysis, and collaborative support to information feeding to other Banner modules. Systems include, but are not limited to, Banner, myFSW portal, and other functional area-specific
    software applications. This position requires extensive collaboration and partnership with all
    functional area staff, Analysts and other technology staff.

    The ideal candidate will have:

    • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.
    • Two (2) years of application systems support experience and experience in a related functional area. Appropriate combination of education and experience may be substituted.
    • Experience using functionally specific information system programs such as SCT Banner.
    • Demonstrated experience using Crystal reports, Banner applications and/or Windows operating systems.
    • Excellent collaboration skills.
