Future Positions: Apprentice Electricians

ABOUT THE ROLE As an Apprentice Electrician, you’ll assist lead electricians in completing jobs while gaining the knowledge and hands-on experience needed for a successful career. Through our Apprenticeship Program, you will work toward earning your Journeyman’s License while contributing to high-quality installations, repairs, and maintenance.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial electrical equipment and systems.

Assess the condition of electrical equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and determine necessary repairs.

Work with and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and job specifications.

Identify and prepare appropriate materials and quantities for repair or installation projects.

Use the Straight Forward Pricing Guide to present repair or installation options to customers and perform safety inspections.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Relevant experience is a plus but may vary by location.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.

A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Strong communication skills to clearly explain issues and recommend solutions to customers.
