    Introduction

    Overview: Daisy is a national smart space installation and services company that simplifies smart home and office technology to make it work optimally, solving one of the biggest in-home problems today and bringing more joy into the lives of our clients. We are seeking an Apprentice Audio Visual (AV) Install Technician who will join our team and receive training and mentorship to quickly advance from no experience to supporting Lead Technicians within months!

    By joining this exciting and unique paid apprenticeship program, you will receive customized online training, in-field shadowing, mentorship from senior technicians and engineers and company leadership, as well as the opportunity to visit different Daisy branches/sites for in-depth, in person learning opportunities.

    Soon, you will perform audio visual support related to AV-based systems, as well as installation, deployment, and maintenance. This includes but is not limited to, audio, video, lighting, shades, security and control systems.

    Responsibilities

    Stay up to date, actively working on an online training schedule

    Take advantage of field training on the job while providing support for technicians performing installation, deployment, and maintenance.

    Provide technical assistance by receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and resolving requests.

    Demonstrate commitment to organizational goals

    Perform other duties as assigned, including occasional after-hours support.

    Skills & Requirements

    Effective communication skills.

    Intermediate experience supporting PCs, peripherals, software, and hardware.

    Superior troubleshooting and analytical skills.

    Ability to be a strong team player and support senior team members – to take direction from them and learn quickly

    Demonstrated passion for excellence in customer service.

    Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of the organization.

    Success in a team-based environment.

    Strong detail orientation and analytical abilities.

    Knowledge of Windows environments with basic troubleshooting skills.

    Background in Audio Visual, Stage production technology, or Information Technology preferred

    AV related systems experience a strong positive

    Must be at least 18 years of age with an insurable driver’s license

    Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently, climb a ladder up to 15 feet, and enter tight crawl spaces
