Aqua-Tots Swim School is looking for an energetic Swim Instructor with a sincere love of children and swimming. Aqua-Tots Swim School specializes in teaching children to swim from day one. Our highly trained instructors are experts in our proprietary curriculum. Combined with our 91 degree water, full-sized pools, children are provided the optimal learning environment. We are dedicated to developing our children into confident, life-long swimmers. We would love to have you as part of our program and we hope to see you in our pools soon!
Swim Instructor Job Responsibilities:
• The main focus of a swim instructor is to teach swimming skills in accordance to Aqua-Tots curriculum in a fun, positive manner
• Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and parents on their swimming efforts
• Structure class time appropriately to incorporate repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills
• Ensure swimmer safety
• Maintain proper equipment and time organization to ensure timely class start times
Swim Instructor Job Requirements:
• Must be able to swim all strokes
• Experience working with children
• Relate well to children, parents, team members, and have superior communication skills
• High energy and hustle
• Friendly, positive attitude
• Strong work ethic
