Suburban Seahawks Swim Club of Newtown Square (Delaware County) has an immediate opening for an Aquatics Manager.
Suburban Seahawks Club (SSC) is a non-profit, 300+ member, competitive aquatics, USA Swimming Silver Medal Club. SSC’s primary location is a club owned, 25 yard 8-lane pool with a 2 lane teaching pool and dry-land room.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to · Supervise the lifeguards, provide or set up training, instruction manual, assign shifts and handle call outs.
· Lifeguard a minimum of 10 hours a week. One mandatory morning shift. Check the machinery, water testing and handle any membership requirements.
· Manage the club one weekend day of the week if no weekend manager can work.
· Suburban will pay for you to become a Certified Pool Operator. There is an opportunity for other courses. With this responsibility you would have other projects within to the facility to work on.
· Administrative Help – Because SSC can have many projects going on at a time you will be asked to contribute time to these assignments. These assignments are but not limited to processing lessons, cleaning, trouble shooting and selling memberships.
Must have Lifeguard Certification and have experience being around a pool environment. All applicants must have a clear background check to work with minors.
