Job Description:
St. Mary Catholic School, a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, is in search of a part time Art teacher for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year.
The teacher's responsibilities will include:
Plan, develop and implement art curriculum to meet learning goals
Maintain the inventory of art materials
Prepare and arrange art materials and art equipment in the classroom for students to use
Deliver lessons to students on art, art techniques, art history and aesthetics
Instruct students in working in different drawing, painting and coloring techniques
Provide instruction in the use of pencils, pens, charcoal, brushes, watercolors, acrylic colors, oil colors and other art materials
Organize art exhibitions to display the artworks of students and help them develop their art portfolios
Support the school administration in developing art programs, attend faculty meetings and participate in parent-teacher discussions
There will also be three class periods of Media Arts
