They will use their CAD skills to create detailed construction documents and oversee the build process to make sure it meets our clients’ quality and cost expectations. Responsibilities: • Consult with project managers and clients throughout the project to ensure the end product meets the client’s quality and budget expectations • Communicate design intent specifications clearly and ensure quality control through site visits with construction professionals • Produce drawings and renderings and revise designs based on feedback • Integrate consultant drawings (HVAC, landscape architect, civil engineers, etc) into design plans • Provide design proposals, building design blueprints, and construction documents containing specifications for building materials and products • The Project Architect will be responsible for all phases and aspects of the architectural process and related drawings, including concept and schematic design, design development, complete construction documents, overall studio quality control, and permit acquisition. • Important additional responsibilities will include communicating & coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors, as well as supporting A. Perry Field Operations staff throughout the construction process. Qualifications: • Fluent in computer-aided design/CAD / design software: Photoshop, Revit, AutoCad, and Sketch-Up and BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology • Requires 5 years of experience with construction projects, producing complete sets of construction documents for developments, residential, or office buildings • Superior problem solving, technical, project management skills, and exceptional communication skills • Must have a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from a National Architectural Accrediting Board approved program is required • Skilled with computer-aided design/CAD / design software: Revit, AutoCad, Photoshop, and Sketch-Up and BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology The specific roles and responsibilities of this position are best suited for an experienced professional (licensure optional). The right candidate will have a professional degree in architecture, excellent design and graphic ability, a passion for residential architecture, comfort with all phases of the architectural process, capability to contribute to overall studio quality control and a superior custom residential design portfolio. Proficiency in digital modeling and other visualization skills is preferred. Project management experience in all phases of custom residential design and construction is a plus. In addition, the position requires the following qualifications: • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an approved program is required (licensure optional) • Minimum 5 years of residential architecture experience • Fluent in CAD and other supporting design software • Excellent project management skills as well as strong problem-solving, technical, and communication skills Compensation: $75,000 - $90,000 yearly
