Windstar Homes, a design-build firm specializing in high-end luxury custom homes, is growing its business and is seeking an Architectural Rendering Specialist to join our team of dynamic and hardworking professionals. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in Residential Construction and will be organized, motivated, detail-oriented, and driven. REMOTE WORK IS NOT AN OPTION. CANDIDATE MUST RESIDE IN THE TAMPA BAY AREA.

Responsibilities:

Digitally create design sketches, final illustrations, and photorealistic renderings of architectural concepts, environments, sets, and props.

Create 3D massing models from architectural plans. Apply textures to the models and provide appropriate lighting techniques.

Assist in developing and creating the aesthetic requirements for final designs.

Create deliverables according to the specifications, including fully rendered hero shots, detail callouts, and material/texture information.

Manage the 3D process from start to finish, including preparation and setup of scenes.

Work with the Architectural Design Team to provide design iterations, marketing material, and concept images.

Track new software and technology trends

Develop high-quality and cutting-edge, high-profile 3D renderings of lighting and interior design.

Read and interpret architectural drawings, including structural and electrical plans, and translate the architectural details to create a 3D model and conversely create detailed technical drawings from 3D models

Incorporate designs into a full-motion video environment using motion tracking capabilities.

Use before-and-after videography and photography of the site to develop realistic visualizations of designs and highlight videos.

Check for code compliance, coordinate with consultants/contractors, and develop construction details.

Required Skills:

A degree in architecture or equivalent is required.

A strong understanding of perspective required

Proficient in rendering to a photorealistic level.

Have a clear understanding of a multi-disciplinary design approach and the delivery of projects to a high quality.

Ability to support business development and marketing initiatives

Must have in-depth experience with a variety of architectural styles

Must have hands-on experience using Adobe Premier Pro and be able to create and edit video walk-throughs and animation for post-production work

Must demonstrate proficiency with the following software:

D5 Render, Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Revit, 3DStudio Max, BlueBeam

Must have experience with Florida Building Codes
