    Position Location: Boston South Shore and Islands

    Approx. Length of Position: Direct Hire

    Degree Required: Bachelor or Master of Architecture required Hybrid Flex work schedule; In office and remote

    Our client, an emerging residential design firm seeks passionate, energetic, and talented architects and designers for an open position in our island-based studio! Relocation to the island is preferred, although full-remote and hybrid options are up for discussion.

The prime focus is creating thoughtful spaces that reflect the unique characteristics of the site and the specific needs and desires of our clients. Collaboration is at the heart of our business. We work with highly skilled builders, craftspeople, and consultants in areas such as engineering, landscape architecture, and interior design to solve complex design challenges. The result is elegant, comprehensive solutions for contemporary living.

    Applicants must share our passion for creating authentic and unique homes for clientele throughout the Northeast. A bachelor's degree in architecture is required, with a master's degree preferred. Relevant professional experiences for this position should include:

    • 4-8+ years minimum work experience in an architecture firm (3+ years residential preferred)

    • Excellent project management and administrative capabilities

    • Ability to independently and collaboratively work through all phases of a project

    • Ability to produce accurate, highly detailed construction documentation sets

    • Experience managing staff, multiple clients, contractors, and collaborators simultaneously

    • Capacity to perform due-diligence studies and permitting coordination

    • Have a strong work ethic and be able to tackle all assignments autonomously

    • Demonstrate design talents that contribute to all aspects of placemaking

    • Be able to adapt to the dynamic needs of the firm and its clients

    Strong design sensibility, creative energy, and a sense of humor are essential! We value loyal, proactive, and pragmatic people who are thoughtful, organized, and focused. Candidates must be eager to learn, possess excellent time management and communication skills, and be capable of thriving in a fast-paced atmosphere. We are a PC-based office and use Revit, Sketch-Up, Adobe CC, MS Office.
