    Job Description

    We are looking for an intermediate Architectural Technologist with strong Revit and AutoCAD skills to join our team working in support of current and future major data center. The ideal candidate will thrive in a team environment where cooperation, attention to detail, adherence to company standards and good communication skills lead to proper execution of project design work

    Role accountabilities:

    • Contributes to the development of data center and mission critical architectural designs by preparing models and working drawings following company standards using Revit and AutoCAD
    • Coordinates architectural design with civil, structural, MEP, fire protection, and physical security disciplines
    • Prepares design development presentations and construction working drawing packages
    • Prepares submission packages under the direction of the architect or job captain/project leader, to meet project timelines
    • Produces drawings and details in compliance with codes and standards
    • Assist with contract administration tasks such as shop drawing reviews and response to RFIs
    • Manages workload and budget required for the completion of assigned tasks
    • Liaises closely with Architect, Job Captain and other designers
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • 5 years' experience as an architectural technologist, designing complex projects with a preference toward data center experience
    • Local experience considered an asset
    • Registration with NCARB and AIA membership is an asset.
    • Strong experience with Revit and AutoCAD are mandatory
    • Experienced with MS Office, MS Sharepoint, Adobe Acrobat, and Bluebeam
    • Must have good organizational and time management skills.
