Exciting opportunity to join our growing company as an Area Director of Human Resources based at the Hilton Jackson. In this position, you will support the overall HR department for the hotel in addition to supporting several assigned hotels. Responsibilities: • Train and support associates, ensuring they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards • Process new hires consistent with established standards and applicable state, federal, and local laws and regulations • Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws as well as regulations and court rulings, that pertain to Human Resources by reviewing current management, and practices, implementing new procedures, and communicating verbally and in writing any new requirements • Counsel and train managers on employee relations issues, resolve employee grievances, conduct management exit interviews and examine all exit interviews for trends, and implement various employee relations programs to maintain a pro-employee environment that ultimately limits turnover Qualifications: • Prior hotel human resource management experience • Bachelor's or higher degree in human resources or similar degree • Ability to travel as needed
