Exciting opportunity to join the Wyndham Atlanta Buckhead Hotel & Conference Center and GF Hotels & Resorts as our Area Director of Human Resources. You will manage the development, implementation, and administration of human resource functions, including training and development, benefit administration, and employee relations for a group of selected hotels as well as the Wyndham Atlanta Buckhead Hotel & Conference Center. Responsibilities: • Coordinate with GF Hotels & Resorts corporate human resources support team to ensure benefits, compensation, leave, and employee relations programs are effectively communicated and administered at the property level • Train and support associates, ensuring they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards • Process new hires consistent with established standards and applicable state, federal, and local laws and regulations • Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws as well as regulations and court rulings, that pertain to Human Resources by reviewing current management, and practices, implementing new procedures, and communicating verbally and in writing any new requirements • Counsel and train managers on employee relations issues, resolve employee grievances, conduct management exit interviews and examine all exit interviews for trends, and implement various employee relations programs to maintain a pro-employee environment that ultimately limits turnover Qualifications: • Prior hotel human resource management experience • Bachelors or higher degree in human resources • A motivating and professional demeanor • Ability to travel as needed
