    Starmark Hospitality, a fast-growing restaurant group based in Fargo, ND, is currently hiring for an in-house Area Sales Manager. This exciting opportunity will be instrumental in continuing to develop the Sickies Garage Burgers & Brews brand across the U.S.

    The Area Sales Manager is responsible for supporting Sickies Garage locations (local stores) regionally and working alongside management to support local store marketing amongst other duties. This is an ideal role for a candidate with multi-unit restaurant or restaurant marketing experience. A knowledge of basic public relations and social media is a plus to properly support those areas as marketing campaigns are developed. If you love relationship building, creative partnerships, and analyzing the success of a campaign, this position is for you. The team is all about open communication and collaboration where new ideas are encouraged.

    Key Responsibilities:

    · Develop yearly marketing calendar consisting of new location openings, market wide promotions, and other activities that promote and develop the Sickies Garage brand.

    · Develop the execution plans for annual market wide promotions, as well as bring new ideas and promotions to the team for consideration. This includes sending internal communication to the local stores with instructions and guidance for promotions, as well as communicating to have promotional POS buttons created, etc.

    · Coordinate and execute store opening marketing plans, employing local / regional agencies as needed. This includes advertising elements that are a fit for the area, overseeing the PR agency for the launch, working with the social media team to ensure social media plan supports the opening, and other marketing duties.

    · Oversee local store advertising contracts. This includes billboards, radio ads, direct mail campaigns, partnerships, etc. Ensure we are utilizing these to the fullest, keep track of all timelines associated with each, and build relationships in each market.

    · Oversee contracts and invoicing for marketing elements for local store marketing and any national marketing that might occur. This includes review, submitting for payment and coding.

    · Develop goals and oversee PR and/or ad agencies when engaged. This includes negotiating media pricing and contracts to ensure we are within budget and using funs effectively.

    · Create, oversee, and update marketing budgets as needed.

    · Oversee outside development of marketing assets from agencies, vendors and partners to ensure brand standards are met and full promotion is being utilized.

    · Process internal orders for marketing and graphic assets including business cards, in-store signage, banners, hiring assets, menus, and other in-store needs.

    · Ongoing development of brand standards for consistency market wide.

    · Ongoing review of incoming marketing requests and response in a timely manner.

    · Create brand image library for press and marketing image selects.

    · Working alongside management, help overhaul the Rewards program including a schedule of promotions, creative, and utilizing marketing initiatives for impactful tie-ins.

    · Track and keep a list of accolades received.

    · Ongoing review, planning, scheduling of Sickies Garage marketing assets across various formats.

    · Measure, evaluate and report on promotion results.

    · Handle crisis-communication along with management and agencies if a situation should arise.

    Skills and Knowledge:

    · Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience. Restaurant marketing a plus. Experience working with agencies a plus.

    · This position is fully-remote, although located in one of our location areas is a plus.

    · Ability to travel. With maintenance visits and new location openings, this position requires approximately 30% travel.

    · Experience managing budgets, including tracking costs, processing invoices, etc.

    · Ability to develop strong reciprocal relationships.

    · Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to provide feedback to local stores and agencies to best align with brand goals.

    · Detail-oriented with great organization skills to keep each location organized in unique marketing needs.

    · Ability to prioritize and manage projects.

    · Ability to maximize results withing budget and ability to communicate if budgetary needs change.

    · Ability to work in a fast-paced and growing environment.

    · Ability to self-manage.
