Position: Area Sales Manager
Job Summary:
The Area Sales Manager is responsible for attainment of assigned business transient/group/catering goals tied to the overall performance of the hotel. The individual will be responsible for effectively soliciting and securing new accounts as well as maintaining existing clients/groups. The Area Sales Manager will work in conjunction with the Regional Director of Sales to achieve the hotel’s revenue and market share goals for the TownePlace Suites Anaheim, CA.

Responsibilities:
Effectively attain assigned sales and revenue goals
Proactively conduct solicitation calls, prospect, generate contracts and conduct sales tours.
Maintain accounts, contacts, activity, and business details using Delphi.
Monitor production of all top accounts and evaluate trends within your market.
Maintain strong visibility in local community and industry organizations as applicable.
Assist with the creation of annual Sales & Marketing plans.
Attend daily/weekly/monthly meetings and any other functions required by management.
