They are seeking an Area Sales Representative to drive revenue growth, manage key accounts, and develop new business opportunities within the construction sector. This role offers a mix of business development, relationship management, and technical sales.
Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business opportunities within an assigned geographic territory
Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, developers, and key decision-makers
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to project completion
Utilize a consultative sales approach to recommend tailored construction solutions
Track sales activity, revenue forecasts, and customer interactions in CRM
Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities
Travel within the territory (up to 50%) to meet with clients and oversee project needs
Qualifications:
5+ years of B2B sales experience in construction materials, equipment rental, or related industries
Strong understanding of scaffolding, concrete formwork, and construction project lifecycles
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet sales targets
Familiarity with CRM systems for sales tracking and reporting
Willingness to travel within the assigned region
Compensation:
Base salary up to 85k/year plus commission
