ABOUT THE COMPANY

Arizona Wholesale Growers has been open for 38 years located in North Phoenix. We provide quality plant materials and exceptional customer service to landscapers, nurseries, resort, and municipalities throughout the Valley and out of state. We are a fast-growing company seeking 3 full time sales positions to be filled between 2 locations in order to support our ongoing sales and marketing efforts.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are a fast-paced, family run plant nursery. Our sales team is driven by sale goals and help support each other to meet our goals. We have built a great rapport with our customers and they trust us to get them quality material in a timely manner.

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE FOR THIS POSITION WILL BE:

·         An energetic self-starter motivated by sales goals.

·         Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.

·         Friendly, pleasant, and upbeat.

DAILY DUTIES INCLUDE:

·         Field customer questions and orders via email or phone and respond in a timely manner. This may include providing pricing and availability as well as emailing pictures.

·         Make sales calls and follow-up sales calls to potential and current customers.

·         Help walk-in customers with plant selection in the yard, when needed.

·         Stay abreast of our current plant inventory to speak knowledgeably to customers about quality and availability.

·         Provide support to lead sales as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

·         Ability to identify some plants is preferred but not necessary.

·         Ability and willingness to learn plant identification is a must.

·         Ability to understand and speak Spanish is preferred but not necessary.

·         Experience in the nursery or landscaping industries is preferred but not necessary.

·         Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus

A typical work week is Monday through Friday with seasonal hours from 6am to 2:30pm in the Summer,

6:30am – 3pm in the Fall and 7am to 3:30pm in the Winter. This position does require time spent outside in the nursery year-round.
