Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Armed Site Supervisor Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security operations and leadership, with the ability to manage and oversee a team of security personnel effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of security officers, ensuring all policies and procedures are followed.

• Conduct regular inspections and patrols to monitor and maintain a secure environment.

• Respond promptly to emergencies, incidents, and alarms, providing appropriate action and reporting.

• Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports related to security activities and incidents.

• Train and mentor security staff, ensuring high standards of performance and compliance.

• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.

• Ensure all security equipment is functioning correctly and report any issues for repair.

• On-Call 24/7 (monitoring radio traffic)

Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid Armed Alabama Security Regulatory Certification.

• Must possess a valid Driver's License with clean MVR.

• Proven experience as a security officer or supervisor in a similar role.

• Ability to carry and use a firearm safely and responsibly, with proper certification and training.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-stress situations.

• Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in security management or related field is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.

• Capability to handle physical confrontations if necessary.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
